Currently Scheduled Classes: Flower Power: Using Flower Remedies for Yourself Learn to use flower remedies to assist with your own mental and emotional healing and growth! Flower remedies/flower essences are a form of energy medicine something like homeopathy; they are different from aromatherapy and herbal medicine. They are usually dispensed into the mouth from a dropper bottle. Because they do not act at the biochemical level, they do not interact with herbal medicines or pharmaceuticals. They are effective and safe for children and animals as well as adults. The best-known flower essences are the Bach Flowers, especially the Bach Rescue Remedy. The Bach Flowers and FES Flower Essences are inexpensive, and readily available in coops and health food stores. There are essences available to help with any mental/emotional issue you can think of: sadness, shame, shock/trauma, fear, grief, discouragement, procrastination, relationship issues, mothering and fathering...just about anything. Come and learn how to use them for yourself! April 25, 2007, 7-9 pm, St Louis Park Community Education, Lenox Center, $19.00. Register with SLP Community Ed, 952-928-6442 or www.slpcommunityed.com .

Introduction to Energy Medicine and Energy Psychology Alternative Approaches to Mental, Emotional and Spiritual Healing Flower Essences for Releasing Old Hurts and Moving Forward
TAT (Tapas Acupressure Technique) for Clearing Mental/Emotional Debris TAT, developed by acupuncturist Tapas Fleming, is a remarkably effective, simple technique for clearing energy blockages. Those blockages may have come from traumatic experiences, or they may simply be old beliefs (about ourselves and/or the world) that need to be released. The technique involves holding certain points on your own head while you focus on a series of intentions with regard to the issue you have chosen. This class will be an introduction; a handout will help you to use the technique for yourself in the future. Sound Healing: How to Use Your Voice to Clear Your Energy Junk You've probably heard that clearing your physical junk from your living space frees energy for your life; in fact, you may have already experienced that. But did you know that you can also clear your "energy junk" from your self and your living space with sound? Come and experience how you can release "energy clouds" of frustration, grief, discouragement, inertia, anger, fear--and how you can access your strength, creativity and joy--just by using your voice. (Don't worry; it is totally unimportant for you to have a "good voice" to be able to do this--just try it!) Huna (Hawaiian Wisdom) Principles for Effective Living Interested in a different way of seeing the world and the self? Not a dogma or religion, but an ancient practical wisdom tradition, Huna offers seven simple but profound fundamental principles for living; for example, "Energy flows where attention goes," "Now is the moment of power," and "If it works for what you want to do, it's a good principle/tool." Huna also offers a simple, very useful understanding of the self and of the levels of reality. This is an introduction, with opportunities for personal practical applications. Huna "Quick Healing" Techniques An opportunity to learn several quick Hawaiian healing techniques for body and mind. If you've just hit your finger with a hammer, there's a way to reverse the effects of the injury. Also, you can use a power point on your own body to bring healing to another part of you. And there's a powerful technique called Dynamind that can help create positive change at any level. All time-tested, safe, easy techniques; try them! In the Hawaiian language, "aloha" stands for much more than just "hello," "goodbye," and "love." Its deeper meaning is "the joyful sharing of life energy in the present." Living with the Aloha Spirit is a powerful way to resolve problems, accomplish goals, and achieve whatever internal state we choose for ourselves; it helps us to be more effective, as well as happier. Learn to shift your focus and direct your energy in this more productive way - and have fun as well! Intro to Using Intuitive Tools Do you like to make good decisions, but feel you're often "flying blind"? Learn how to use intuitive tools such as the pendulum, muscle testing and casting stones for prioritizing and making "yes/no" types of decisions. Learn about the I Ching, Tarot, runes, and a variety of card decks for more complex questions. Learn basic guidelines such as being specific, being grounded, and staying unattached to the outcome. Those with some experience and those with none are both welcome. Additional classes can also be scheduled in:
